Clubbing is an activity most Singaporeans are addicted to. Zouk', 'MOS' or 'Double O' are just some of the more renowned ones.
Back when i was younger and still ineligible to enter a club, I would wonder what clubbing would be like, and why so many of my older friends loves to club. Why was it so addictive? What goes on inside the club?
So like a curious teenager, i entered a club for the first time when i was 20, basically with the main purpose of finding out what it was like. Ever since, i have hated clubbing and never advocated clubbing to my friends.
So what is it like to go clubbing? Well, let me break it down for you.
1. You head down to the clubs, paying an entrance fee of about $25.
2. You head into the clubs and proceed to get your drinks.
3. Next, you either proceed to the dance floor and dance or you just chill at a corner. The sad thing is that the dance floor is normally filled with sexually deprived guys. And if you go to a club to chill, you are either stupid or brainless because the music will be blasting away and you can't hear what the other party is trying to say.
4. At the end of the day, you either end up too drunk and will be vomiting somewhere outside the club. Or in the case of some women, they either get molested in the club and not know who did it or they might end up with a one night stand.
What i trying to bring across is that i think it's a complete waste of money to go clubbing, i rather head down to places like Holland Village or Dempsey Hill to chill then to go clubbing. And clubbing are normally for people who lacks a proper social circle and seeks solace in those places.
With that,
Peace Out!
