Dreams

A few days back, i met up with Eng Kok/Hoong Hoong, my softball coach in secondary school, for a dinner with the girls from Compassvale secondary.

It proves to be an enlightening day as i learnt alot from a coach whom i always gave my utmost respect to. He was a man of wisdom, a person whom you go up to and ask for advice for business propositions.

Yeah, i told him that i had to, let me emphasize this, i had to, not i want to, take over my father's business. Yeah, and i told him that i see myself taking over before the age of 26.

Many advice were given, this is a list of what i can remember :

1) He said that if i'm happy to earn a profit of $20,000- $30,000 per month, then i can happily take over his business and forget about what he has to say.

2) Whether my father is emotionally attached to the company because it's build from scratch, and therefore able to take the fact that i might appoint someone who i can trust to handle the company

3) Time = Money. Therefore waiting 30 minutes for someone who said she's coming in 15 minutes is sinful. And you know who you are!

4) On the time = Money topic, Donald Trump wants so much to save on transportation time that he had his house right upstairs his office.

5) Time Management. Have you seen any millionaires, billionaires go clubbing? Clubbing is a ultimate waste of time.

6) That some friends are just pulling you down, those who always ask you out for coffee, for lunch, for a chat, you should try to cut away from them. All this people are wasting your time, they are not gonna help you become a millionaire. (although i don't entirely agree on this topic)

7) All the certificates that we are chasing for, the diplomas, the degrees are just useless papers. If you wanna be rich, you don't need to have paper qualifications to be rich.

This are the advices that i can remember. This is also for future reference, just in case i wanna revise this points again next time.

But after speaking to Eng Kok, i realize i want to achieve something in my life. One only live once, we gotta strive for what we want. I want to achieve a dream, a dream that's possible to achieve, to be a multi-millionaire.

I had a small side bet with 2 good friends of mine, to see who would achieve the target of earning our first $10 million. I want to WIN!

I've set myself a realistic target of becoming a multi-millionaire by the age of 30
p.s. I'm 21 this year.

So who wants to be my wife now?

Haha. . . . .
