My Future

It seems i'm getting more and more lazy to update my blog, am already starting to treat this as a mundane thing. Ya, i'm just plain lazy.



My father had a man to man talk with me last night, we were actually talking about my future, and it was broken down to 2 topics:


1. My long term happiness, which is getting a wife!

2.He wanted me and my younger brother to take over his business in the future.


I was pretty shocked when he talked to me about this 2 topics. Here is a detailed re-enactment of what we talked about last night :


Daddy : How old are you now?
Me : 21?
Daddy : How old are you gonna be when you ord?
Me : 22?
Daddy : So you ord 23 years old?
Me : NO! It's 22!
Daddy : Ya what, according to the chinese age, you are 23 when you ord right?
Me : (Sulking) Ya.
Daddy : So when you want to marry?
Me : Huh, I'm still young! Beside that, i don't even have a girlfriend yet!
Daddy : SO! MY CHINA FRIEND 23 YEAR OLD MARRIED WITH 2 SONS ALREADY!
Me : (Gasps) But china different, china very similar to india, both 3rd world country, they always marry early.
Daddy : Where got different? All countries are equal.
Me : - -" (for a moment thinking he might get me a china wife.)

Then long pause..................


Daddy : By the way, what you want to do after you ord?
Me : Study (But inside, i want to be the ultimate slacker! haha.)
Daddy : Ok, good! What you want to study just tell me, i'll pay the school fees.
Me : Ok! *with an evil grin
Daddy : Then after studies come take over my busines.
Me : WHAT! (I knew i should have paid for my own studies)
Daddy : Yah, i want you and your brother to take over my business. Both of you have different qualities that can bring the business further.
Me : Ok? (My brother has qualities? I think you are over-rating him. He sucks at everything he do and he's got a low iq and eq problem)


Then he goes on to talk a whole bunch of stuffs that i did not bother to listen. Although i really hate the world of electronics, I may just take over his business for the sake of the business. I saw my father work hard at it from scratch and i don't want him to close down the company just because no one wants to take over it. Yeah, *sighs!


But for the girlfriend thing, it's something that i can do something about. I am looking hard and i'm sure that i'll find that special someone.
