The hot topic on most people's lips right now:

Cpl Dave Teo from the Singapore Armed Forces while on guard duty being able to smuggle his SAR21 out of camp.



For me, i was pretty surprised that such a thing can happen, it means the officers that were in charge were not very alert on that day, especially when they were only informed of him being missing in action after 1 hour.


Many reasons were cited for him doing what he did, some said it was his ex-girlfriend(maybe he can take lessons from me on how to let go of the past) which ditched him a few months back, some say he wants to impress people.


He was arrested the next day in a Cineleisure toilet, with the SAR21 rifle on him with the live rounds. He was dressed for the occasion, wearing a blazer and tie, maybe he wanted to join Will Smith in MIB(3).


After this incident, issuing of arms will definitely be stricter, maybe we have to sign on 300 sheets of paper before we can even draw an arm. NSF men who see him outside might run up to him and give him 1 of those traditional blanket party. Some on the street will just walk up to him and whack him, with each whack they would say :
'blazer and tie some more!'
'emo some more'
'because of you more guard duty!'
'think of becoming super-spy a.k.a James Bond some more'
Cpl Dave Teo will become a picture most will have, to throw their darts on. A hate figure for all that he's done.


But guys, he has received punishment for what he's done, so let's just forgive him for what he has done. Hopefully he will stop 'emoing' and will be remorseful for what he did and he will learn from his mistakes.
