Here's something funny for you guys to read. Have not encountered something so funny like this. Few days back, while on duty at my division, i observed 2 Indians standing at a distance from our division. As our division is a protected division, it means nobody are allowed to loiter near the area of our division.
So me and my police team-mate, his name was Shaffeek, he was an Indian too. Yeah, we had to bring him along as we may need him in case of communication breakdown. We approach the 2 Indian subjects and this was what happened:
Me : Hello, may i know what you are here for?
Indian Man 1 : %#&%^^$#&@#$! (Spouting words in tamil which i obviously can't understand.)
Shaffeek : ^$#^&$#@@@!!^^&*&@@!
Indian Man 2 : %%#@!!~#$$%^^
Shaffeek : **&%$@!!@$$!!
Okay, so this is a translation of what they were saying:
Me : Hello, may i know what you are here for?
Indian Man 1 : Erm, we are here waiting for our boss to fetch us.
Shaffeek : Ok, as this is a protected area, we kindly request you to move further down the street.
Indian Man 2 : Police officer, please don't catch me, i got work permit!
While walking back to the division, Shaffeek explained to me what he was saying, because i observed indian man 2 was very defensive when talking to us. I laughed out loud when i heard that "don't catch me, i got work permit" thingy.
