Genting!

Over the weekend i drove up to Genting with a couple of my friends, 9 of us squeezing our butts into 2 cars, a Mitsubishi Grandis and a Ford Focus, much to our surprise, we arrive there much faster then estimated, because we were driving this fast.

Yeap, we were driving at top speed. Haha.

The weather was also something else that i really enjoyed. As one of my friends point out that day, that i have eskimo blood because i sweat like crazy, so it came as to no surprise when everyone was wearing a jacket when i'm not as you can see in the next picture.

Yeap, i was wearing berms and t-shirt and it was 12 degree celcius. Another thing that i really loved there was that everything was so CHEAP! I bought like 2 t-shirts and a shirt at only below 100 ringgit, which was like around 45 Singapore dollars. Haha. And i got a girl's email address while i was there too, there was no use getting her number, as i will incur expensive handphone bills just to talk to her.

This was the girl i got her number from, and i realised that i become so much fatter over the years, or it could have been just the shirt that make me look more 'prosperous'.

But the trip was marred by corrupted Malaysian police and an arrogant Singapore Cisco officer, while on our way back from Malaysia, we just came out of the tol, where we had to pay money, and we were cruising around 80km/hr, and we came to this road block, and my friends in the Ford Focus, were flagged away by the police, and after which was our car, he stopped our car and told us we were speeding at 125km/hr, that immediately pissed me off, we knew right away that he wanted us to bribe him, my friend who was driving the car was asked to step out of the car, i got very angry and stepped out of the car and wanted to asked the police what bloody evidence does he got, but my friends were like pulling me back, telling me to relax.

In the beginning, he asked my friend to give him 140 ringgit or he'll give us a speeding ticket, argh!! that's freaking corrupted lah, and my friend said he had no money and gave him 50 ringgit in the end.

The other incident was when we were at the Singapore customs and getting our cars checked if we smuggled anything in. So we were in the car chatting and laughing to each other and the officer was checking the car when he suddenly said, 'What's so funny? Very funny is it? Nevermind, open all your bags." I swear i was pissed again, too bad i did not get his name, or i would have exposed him.

Other then this 2 incidents, i was pretty happy with the trip because it allowed me to de-stressed which i haven't been doing for a very long long time.

With that,
Peace Out!
