Anger Management

I am angry right now, angry to the point that i do not mind literally beating the living hell out of someone. It will probably makes me feel better if i do it to the people who made me angry.

Well, let me explain what's going on.

NS, it stands for national service. I'm serving my ns right now, and so do the other 5 person in my 6 men team in the police force. I believe all of us know that serving ns maybe boring and mundane to some people and they will slack their way to their O.R.D.

My team in the division is currently short on manpower and i'm the most senior guy in this team of 6. So i believe working in a team, it's about teamwork and working hard together and slacking hard together.

But apparently to some of them, the division seems like more like a holiday chalet to them more like a place where they work. I believe in working hard and playing hard, and when it's time to work, we work hard, and when it's time to play, we play harder.

But what my team-mates have done today has made me reached my boiling point, i will list out what they have done,

1) Waking up late from their break
2) Still taking their time to render assistance to us when they were supposed to render their assistance much earlier.
3) Not handing over things properly to the next team taking over.
4) Calling me to tell me things i forget to do whenthey are supposed to check and make sure it's correct and in order before handing over.

Apparently 1 of the senior cum slacker, called me when i was on the way home to tell me about something that was written wrongly when i was on duty, it was not written by me, it was written by one of my junior.

I don't blame my junior, because they're still new and they might not know things and are more prone to mistakes in their jobs. The senior blamed me for not checking, BUT, i would like to emphasized the BUT, he did not realized that he was working at that point too and he too should help check before handing over. He too has a part to play in that mistake, so why push ALL the blame to me?

Ever since i took over the team, only 1 of the senior has maintained their high standard, and i salute him for that despite the ongoing unrest in the team. Even the juniors are performing better then the seniors right now.

To the other 2 seniors who are in the team who are apparently taking advantage of my kindness and slacking off right now,
you guys better buck up and show an improvement. I do not tolerate such incompetence as such anymore. I only have another 2 months to my ord, i can actually just finish the 2 months and fuck off. But i still care for the team because i don't want you guys to suffer when i leave. Some of the juniors have complained that the seniors are not showing them any respect by ordering them around like dogs. As the most senior guy in the team, i too have observed that. And i only can say, when you want respect, you gotta give it to them before people gives the respect back to you.
