The Captain

I've been voted by my team-mates to become captain of the youth soccer team.

It's funny. For your information, my soccer team's youth side consist of players under 21, and i'm 21++.

I just told the coach a few months back that i'll volunteer to play for the youth side if he needs players to play with them. And so, i also expected the captain to be also 1 of those players who are ACTUALLY under 21.

SO it comes as a surprise even when i was nominated for the captaincy of the youth team. Well, i ain't got any other choices but to accept the elevated role from here.

Like Spiderman use to say : "With great powers comes great responsibility!"

Haha. With it, i'm therefore the captain of Midland Wolves Football Club's youth team. But only for a period of 6 months, after that i'll pass the mantle on to someone whom i think is capable enough to lead the team.

Peace Out!
